Klaudia Kosziba is a painter living and working in Slovakia. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, where since 2008 she has been the head of the Painting Studio at the Department of Painting.
Kosziba´s work programmatically circumvents the ability to create the illusion of a desire for determination and meaningfulness of the past - a time when the original was created, a time that references the painted scene, and a time that requires a connection to the artwork. Her painting oscillates between psychological melodrama, nature fiction allegory, and philosophizing insight. Motifs such as landscapes, objects and people do not exist in themselves, as their form is always changing. Reversibility in the paintings dominates over interpretive intent.
Her works are mostly found in private collections.
