VÝKLENKOVÉ REZONANCIE

Slovakia

Výklenkové Rezonancie is an audio-visual project by Kabal (Jacques Kustod / Zelený Antoin, Žakheles) and Filip (Soundscapes, Counterpoint), emerging from the Bratislava underground scene and its DIY club culture. Their work is deeply rooted in the city district of Bratislava – Petržalka, its brutalist architecture, everyday absurdity, and post-socialist melancholy, which they translate into a hypnotic blend of drone, noise, psychedelia, and hip-hop elements.

The project was primarily active in a live context in its early years, performing several concerts before going silent for an extended period. During that initial phase, they also produced raw home recordings characterized by improvisation, lack of fixed structure, and a strong sense of expressive freedom.

Their sound is built on analog synthesizers, distorted guitar, noise textures, and deconstructed vocals, often resembling a fragmented urban diary capturing life at the edge of perception. The result is a dark, sometimes hallucinatory sonic collage that oscillates between chaos and hypnotic repetition.

After years of inactivity, Výklenkové Rezonancie return to the stage.
