Tone Generator & the Body without Organs

Australia

Tone Generator (a.k.a. Dom Guerin) and the BwO (Commodore Flint) both have over 40 years of experience playing live. Tone Generator started performing with the seminal industrial band SPK between 1980 and 1983, touring throughout Europe, Japan, and the U.S.A. More recently, he has performed at Noiseistanbul and The Horse Hospital in London. Commodore Flint has played extensively in the underground Punk and Noise circuit in both the U.K. and Australia. Classically trained, he brings a "virtuosic" quality to their performances.

Tone Generator co-created SPK's debut album "Information Overload Unit" and was responsible for much of early SPK’s graphic and visual content, including the notorious "Despair" video. He was also responsible for creating one of the earliest independent video distribution networks with Twin Vision, where he collaborated with SPK, Chris & Cosey, Nocturnal Emissions, Die Tödliche Doris, Lustmord, and many others. As an original member of Last Dominion Lost, he has occasionally recorded and performed live with the band in Europe. In 2019, Tone Generator played for the first time as a solo act at The Horse Hospital in London and at Noiseistanbul. In 2020, Tone Generator and the Body without Organs (TG & BwO) was formed, initially consisting of a fluid mixture of different musicians before settling into a permanent duo with Commodore Flint.

TG & BwO is an Industrial/Noise band that creates an intense audio and visual experience. The project is uncompromising in its pursuit of the systematic derangement of all the senses.
