Štefan Szabó is a guitarist, composer, improviser, organiser and curator from Rimavská Sobota, Slovakia. His artistic practice moves between free improvisation, experimental music and inspirations drawn from folk traditions. He performs in numerous local and international projects, including Ranjevš & Óbasz, the Bratislava Improvisers Orchestra, a duo with Adela Mede and the trio Szabó / Bodnárová / Nosál. He is also the curator of the n festival and co-curator of the U Strún concert series.

In the Evangelical church, Szabó will present his organ project based on the album Clouds and Pulses, released by the Czech label MA Records. The project focuses on the physical and mechanical nature of the organ itself. Breath, airflow, bellows movement, resonances, noises and subtle imperfections emerge as essential elements of the musical language.

Rather than a traditional organ recital, the performance becomes a careful act of listening to the instrument as a living organism. The result is an immersive sonic experience situated between improvisation, ambient music and an acoustic exploration of space.
