Hnilomorna is one of the most distinctive names in the contemporary Czech and Slovak dungeon synth scene. The project of Lukáš, also known from the death-doom metal band Námöl, often reaches beyond the genre's boundaries towards funeral dark ambient built from layered bass guitar loops, effects and bleak sound textures. Slow-moving compositions evoke abandoned graveyards, fog-covered borderland forests and the endless echoes of subterranean chambers.

Despite its relatively short existence, Hnilomorna has earned recognition among fans of dark ambient and dungeon synth alike, including an appearance on the Czech & Slovak Dungeon Synth Compilation released by Sky Burial Productions. Live performances are accompanied by thematic visual projections, deepening the atmosphere of decay, melancholy and inexorable passage of time.
