Hailing from Dresden, Germany, Heimstatt Yipotash have been shaping their distinctive approach to rhythm noise and experimental industrial music since 2001. Their sound is built around relentless, physical rhythms, abrasive textures and unconventional samples, drawing freely from industrial, noise, techno, drum’n’bass, breakbeat and dubstep.
Rather than remaining confined to a single genre, HYT have continuously evolved from release to release, balancing the raw intensity of noise with a strong rhythmic drive. The result is music that can be as cerebral and experimental as it is visceral and danceable.
Since the mid-2000s, Heimstatt Yipotash have been part of the HANDS Productions roster and have performed extensively across Europe, including appearances at Forms of Hands, Maschinenfest, Wave-Gotik-Treffen, Elektroanschlag, NCN Festival, Infest and numerous other festivals and clubs. Their discography spans more than two decades, with their latest album Abyss released by HANDS Productions in 2026.
