Erik Pánči is a Slovak experimental musician and visual artist whose work is based on layering field recordings, analogue sounds and improvised compositions. Using modular synthesizers, a piezoelectric piano and various analogue instruments, he creates immersive sonic environments situated between ambient music, electroacoustic composition and sound art.
A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Pánči connects music with philosophical reflections on the structure of space-time and the nature of reality. His performances are rooted in improvisation, spatial awareness and the gradual construction of organic sound layers emerging from elementary analogue sources and recorded environments.
