Bator Egg is music project of Jan Batorek, a visual artist originally from Čadca in northern Slovakia and currently based in Prague. Batorek is also known from numerous other original musical ventures, including Mravcolev, Pakosteň, Plešatá Zpěvačka and Hydrauliter. His work has long operated at the intersection of experimentation, improvisation and DIY culture.

Originally conceived as an exploration of the most lo-fi approaches to music-making, Bator Egg evolved into a distinctive blend of industrial, EBM, martial techno, neofolk, black metal aesthetics and raw electronics. The project avoids both genre conventions and polished production, embracing atmosphere, imperfection and sonic curiosity instead.

Rooted in the rich alternative tradition of northern Slovakia and the Kysuce underground, Bator Egg remains a singular and highly personal artistic statement.
